This Portfolio
- Next.js
- React
- TypeScript
- Tailwind
In the age of AI authoring, I thought it would be fun to use my own handwriting and hands to make a website.
The viewers (human or computer) can adjust the slider at the top of the page to their viewing preference.

Finsta Portfolio
https://looka.click
- Just for fun
- Small web experiments
- Motion and Animation
Unserious Development.

Python Field Guide
https://pythonfieldguide.com
- Client-side Python execution (Pyodide, WebAssembly)
- JavaScript
- Material for MkDocs
- Technical Writing
- Information Architecture
A free site for learning Python where every example is a live editor: real Python runs in the reader's browser through WebAssembly, with nothing to install and no server behind it.
Designed around where beginners actually get stuck — setup, jargon, and too much at once — and tested for accessibility and structure on every change.
I wrote the content and built the site from scratch.

iOS habit tracker app
- Swift
- SwiftUI
- SwiftData
- WidgetKit
- CloudKit
An iOS habit tracker built around real schedules instead of rigid daily streaks: each habit has a window to complete it in, a color that warms as its deadline nears, and a snooze that pauses it without erasing progress.
Local-first by design: data stays on the device unless the user opts in to iCloud sync, and exports in full at any time.

Open Source MkDocs Plugins
- JavaScript
- CSS
- Web accessibility (WCAG, axe-core)
- Playwright
- Open source packaging
Four front-end plugins for Material for MkDocs, a popular documentation theme: JavaScript and CSS that add navigation, audience filtering, a generated quick-reference grid, and a two-button light/dark switch to any docs site.
Framework-free, themeable through CSS custom properties, and tested in real browsers with Playwright and axe-core. Extracted from Python Field Guide and published as installable packages.

KUOW Research
KUOW, Seattle's NPR network
- Design research
- stakeholder interviews
- co-design
- service design
Teams across KUOW, Seattle's NPR station, study the same listeners but rarely share what they learn. Over a five-month master's capstone we mapped where research gets siloed through interviews, a survey, and a co-design workshop, then designed lightweight rituals built to outlast our involvement.

Mobile COVID Exposure Notifications
Washington State Dept. of Health
- Moderated usability testing
- affinity mapping
- research synthesis
What stops people from reporting a positive COVID-19 test in WA Notify? Moderated usability tests with ten participants for the Washington State Department of Health found the interface worked; the friction was terminology, privacy wording, and where the feature lives on the phone.

Dollars & Sense
Masters Case Study
- User-centered design
- usability testing
- interaction design
- design specification
Young adults starting their first job face a pile of money decisions school never covered. From a survey, interviews, and usability testing, our team designed a personalized "Game Plan" of financial topics with small mentor communities, delivered as a full design specification and high-fidelity prototype.

EnviroLogger
FizzLab at University of Washington
- Physical design
- Iterative prototyping
- Laser cutting
- Acrylic solvent welding
- Arduino
A working example of how far a classroom Arduino prototype can go: an environmental data logger taken from a bare circuit to a finished, tactile instrument over several rounds of physical design.
A clear acrylic enclosure shows the circuit inside, with labels etched and painted from the back so they stay crisp and can't wear off.

Feel the weather of another city through LED lighting
Independent Class Project
- Arduino
- C++
- Circuit Design
- Laser Cutting
- Acrylic Solvent Welding
- Physical Fabrication
An artwork that shows the live weather of a chosen city through neon-style light: color for conditions, shade for temperature, animation speed for wind, and a red pulse when the air is unsafe.
An ambient display rather than a screen — a way to feel connected to a place or a person without reading a forecast.

The Rise of Hip Hop
- Data visualization
- Tableau
- Python / pandas
- API data wrangling
An interactive Tableau dashboard of hip hop's Golden Age (1987–1997), built on a Python and pandas pipeline that joins every Billboard Hot 100 hip hop track with Spotify's audio features.

dcluttr
Masters Case Study
- Product strategy
- market research
- competitive analysis
- business modeling
Digital clutter is invisible, so it piles up. dcluttr is a privacy-first desktop tool that audits files locally and turns decluttering into a habit, developed as a business case: market research, competitive analysis, customer segments, a PRFAQ, and a business model canvas.

Light It Up
Masters Case Study
- Co-design
- concept development
- accessibility research
- speculative design
Co-designed with a wellness coach living with multiple sclerosis: light and sound in the home that guide safe movement, encourage activity at the level a person chooses, and create a calm space, with control by wall fixture, wearable, or automation.
